Do not try this at home (or in your car)
Posted on March 11, 2014 by Tim
Or someone elses car in which you are riding. This new Fan Art from Awalex shows us why we shouldn't cover the driver's eye(s), play with the controls, or wave finglongers in front of their noses. Do that and you might rear end some other show, and that would be bad. It is nice to know that even a thousand years in the future cars will still be available with stick shifts and fake wood grain finishes.
And dusting off some HTML code I have'nt used in a while, heres two new pics from Hektious - a sketch of Amy and a painting of Kif.

Ok, so things have been a little quiet lately. In fact, the only thing to come in is a new Fan Fiction from Zoey Webber. It's called When Ants Attack. It's set in the aftermath of the great casino heist of Viva Mars Vegas; read and watch as Bender gets busted for trying to build an illegal casino of his own, until he hears of a planet called Sandhill where ants live and where human rule don't apply. That's when he makes his move and Fry, Leela, Hermes, Amy, and Zoidberg are forced to help.
Punks and Sprites
Posted on February 24, 2014 by Tim
Got just a little bit of new Fan Art to share today. Quazie89 sends along four, that's right, count 'em, four pics. This one has Leela sporting a cool, punk hair cut and Fry in a cool, black jacket. You can cehck out the rest on her fanart page.
Here's something a little different - first it's possibly the fastest thing we've ever hosted 'cause it's by 742mph. Schlee sez “It's a ‘sprite sheet’, which is a set of poses and animations of Bender in a retro 8-bit style. It’s essentially how I imagine Bender would appear if he were a playable character in a mid-‘80s Nintendo game.”

Huzzah! A few submission have finally trickled in so I can actually crawl out from under my rock and update. First is some new Fan Art by the very patient Hektious (and by patient I mean he sent thees in over a week ago and what with one thing or another I've only now gotten 'round to them ). He sends three, this one is for the Kiff and Amy fans out there and you can check out the other two on his fanart page.
Next is an illustrated Fan Fiction from Gulliver63. It's called The Amazing Bureaucratic Voyage in which the PE crew go on their most Fantastic Voyage ever, it's a journey of miniature proportions; the Planet Express crew get shanghaied into taking a shrunken vehicle into Morgan Proctor's brain. By the time it's over, they find out that the Bureaucracy is much more dangerous than anything they've faced in their incredible voyages.
The Day We Fight Back

Today, February 11, 2014, Futurama-Madhouse joins with thousands of other sites across the internet in protesting mass surveillance by governments (and one government in particular), and if we got the code right, a really cool banner should appear at local midnight for the day. You can read more about it at The Day We Fight Back and what you can do.

Barking mad (in more ways than one)
Posted on February 4, 2014 by Tim
Yup, you gotta be barking mad to work here. Arf! Arf! So let's get on with it. First up's some new Fan Art from kaspired. You'll probably recognize it from Jurassic Bark but with a little role reversal going on. Kasp sez “The episode was shown on TV a little while ago. As soon as I saw the wrestling scene, where Amy says "Oh how cute! Bender, you're jealous of Frys dog.", and then gets slammed onto floor, I knew what I had to draw. One quick role reversal later, I've corrected that.”.
And speaking of Barking Mad, that's also the title of one of three new Fan Fictions from Quazie89, and by “new” I mean new to the Madhouse as these have been on a couple of other sites for a while now so I'm given to understand. This one's about a weather report of furry showers and an evil canine ruler named Rufus who rules a planet called Bonevald. The other two are A Smoldering Fate in which Lars visits an ailing Mr. Panucci, and Meeting The Simpsons, which ought to be obvious, but isn't.
And one last Fan Fiction - it's part 6 of Dwayne Anderson's Space Ace Doofus.
It's about time ...

DSS probably thinks I've forgotten about the three new works of Fan Art he sent in recently. Truth is I was kinda dragging my feet to see if anything else came in, but aside from one not-for-publication sneak preview fan fic snippet from one of our regular scribes, this is it to date. Anyway, like I said DSS has three new fan arts. This one is Leela as Lana Kane from the FX series Archer. The other two are, in order, are Leela as Princess Purpleberry from the Saturday Morning Fun Pit episode and Wonder Woman interpreted as a Futurama-styled fembot.
Twick or Tweak
Posted on January 20, 2014 by Tim
Zoidberg saves the day? That'll be the day, but that day might be closer than you think, 'cause Gulliver63 has a new Fan Fiction called Tweak where that might just happen. Let's see what what happens when Planet Express hires a dangerous psionic mutant, and who helps save the day. Why not Zoidberg? (I have a t-shirt that says that). Did I mention that it's illustrated?
DSS fires off some new (and possibly old) Fan Art. There's five new pic, two inspired by the episode I Dated A Robot, one from A Fishfull of Dollars, and two of Leela as Donna Troy, Wonder Woman's sister. And I think most of us would agree that Leela is something of a Wonder Woman in her own right.
Did I mention we're having a special on alternate universes?
Posted on January 14, 2014 by Tim
I didn't? Cloulda sworn I'd mentioned it. Ah well, we are. Here's three new Fan Arts from DSS. This one's the Universe 1 Leela as Superwoman as she appears in the DC Comics crossover event Forever Evil. That's the newest of the three, the other two are older and show Leela as Bellatrix Lestrange from the Harry Potter series and a Futurama/Family Guy crossover drawing featuring Brian Griffin drunkenly hitting on Leela at a bar, much to her discomfort (I can relate, when animals start talking to me it's time to quit drinking ).
And then we have a new Comic Transcript. Dinkdrinker has done #69, Don't Go Taking My Heart!.
Meanwhile, in several alternate realities ...

Happy Monday everyone. In my part of the world we are up to our eyeballs in snow and below zero temperatures (on any scale you're using to measure it) so what a great night to stay in and do something useful, like maybe finally update Madhouse. So, here to lead off is a long overdue segment to !iMmOrTaL!'s Fan Comic Welcome To The World of Sorrow. There's ten new pages and they start on No 41. Pay close attention to the heads in the jars and to what cult classic gets a nod.
Let's welcome back longtime contributor DSS with this new piece of Fan Art called Leela in Bed. Wonder if she's waiting for Fry to come back or what?
And finally a spot of Fan Fiction being part V of Dwayne Anderson's alternate universe romp called Space Ace Doofus.
